We did it! The building permit application has officially begun.
Well, it wasn’t actually us, physically, as Jon was swamped with work so our contractor James filed for the permits and yes, surprise surprise, there WAS is a fee involved. Something like $1000.
Of course.
Actually, it was probably a collaboration that also included my in-laws standing in to write the check.
No matter. The point is that the process has begun!
